Part Time Program Coordinator for Calming Kids: Creating a Non-Violent World

Calming Kids is a small Boulder non-profit bringing yoga and mindfulness to students and teachers locally and globally. This part time position reports to the Executive Director and includes: 
  • Managing communications – updating the WordPress website and writing/designing newsletters, email/phone contact with teachers, schools, donors, grant organizations.
  • Assisting with outreach – promotion of programs and products, support with grant research and editing grants, general organizational support. 
  • Managing contacts – keeping spreadsheets, filing yearly forms.
  • Organization of events – planning and coordinating teacher trainings, fundraising events, and assisting with all logistics related to these activities.
  • Ordering supplies – coordination with printers and suppliers for the reorder of products and books that are used for teachers, parents, students and CK Trainings.
  • General support with all of the tasks that go into running a small non-profit. 
Ideal candidates should have experience with yoga and mindfulness, children, and teachers.
Comfort with social media, writing, fundraising, and basic IT and office skills required.
Remote vs in-person, and part time schedule, to be negotiated.
Pay based upon experience, starting at $18/hour – incremental raises based on performance.
