Omkar was born in England and spent 4 years in India studying yoga and meditation before moving to the USA in 1983. He co-founded White Swan Music Inc in 1991 a music distributor and record label, with its primary focus being music for yoga and meditation.

Yoga and meditation continue to be an important part of Omkar’s life having personally experienced its benefits. Making it available to school age children is highly beneficial resulting in better focus in the classroom and more balance in daily living. Omkar joined the Calming Kids Board of Directors in 2009.
