The various hand mudras (hand positions) presented in this book are thousands of years old and are time tested gestures which lock the vital life force energy (Prana). Re-channeling this energy and moving it in a positive way to heal, relax or energize our body and mind, brings us into our center and allows for our true nature to be experienced – that of compassion to our self and towards others.

“Yoga for the Hands” was created for teenagers to address the physical nature and tension that can occur for teen hands due to texting and technology. This booklet provides therapeutic hand exercises along with emotional balance through hand positions/mudras.
