The Calming Kids teacher training is interactive, intellectually engaging, and easy to implement. Through lectures, discussions, partner practices, and experiential learning, participants will explore movement, simple yoga poses, breathing exercises, relaxation techniques, and mindfulness skills to support students’ mental wellness—from pre-teens to teens.
CK’s evidence-based curriculum teaches strategies to enhance focus, respect personal space, and make better choices. Attendees will learn how to help students manage stress, practice effective breathing for self-regulation, and cultivate relaxation techniques. Additionally, participants will find these calming techniques valuable for their own well-being, allowing them to model mindfulness for students.
Calming Kids’ mindfulness and social-emotional courses benefit all students, including those who may not engage in physical yoga practice.
